Yesterday, on the occasion of the American elections, Vanity Fair magazine reviewed the meetings of the kings of Spain with different presidents of the United States.

Rather than reading the article, I just looked at the photos. Wonderful, nostalgic and classy.

In the article there are 9 photos, 7 are from the reign of Juan Carlos I and Queen Sofía and 2 are of the current King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia.

I am surprised by the marked styles of both queens, on the one hand, Sofía with dresses and long skirts, on the other hand, Letizia with a straight quasi-cube skirt.

I leave the photos below to be able to take a look at them from time to time.

Queen Sofía, transmits lightness to me, knowing how to be and playing with comfort and elegance.










Letizia, transmits me less naturalness but an elegance of a book. All straight, impeccable.

Xeou! Helados de verdad

Hace una semana estuve con unos amigos en el Camino de Santiago e instauramos una rutina para amenizar las tardes después de cada etapa.  Esta costumbre era tomar un helado y el sitio elegido en tres de los pueblos en los que acabamos la etapa fue "Xeou!" una heladería familiar moderna que se define como:  ¡Somos los primeros helados de Ribeira Sacra! Somos naturales, estamos elaborados con nuestra propia leche y otros ingredientes de calidad y proximidad. También nos gusta viajar y llegamos a muchos paladares a través del Camino de Santiago. Los helados estaban muy ricos y los disfrutamos a lo grande cada tarde pero por lo que escribo fue por un comentario que escuche en la heladería hablando con la dueña de la misma:  La propietaria me explicaba con orgullo que la leche utilizada era de sus propias vacas y que ellos se encargaban del 100% de la elaboración de los helados. Un sábado en el Museo del Traje de Madrid

No estilo estar muchos fines de semana en Madrid, me gusta salir, quizás huir. En cualquier caso ocurrió que estaba en Madrid un sábado por la mañana y me propuse aprovechar e ir al Museo del Traje. Nunca había ido con mascarilla y eso ya era indicador de que algo estaba haciendo mal.  Hice el recorrido de la exposición permanente que recientemente ha sido renovado. En este “post” trataré de hacer un recorrido por la exposición con mis principales comentarios y lo que más me llamó la atención.  La visita es cronológica terminando con diseñadores contemporáneos. Sobre las siguientes fotografías escribiré unas breves notas.  1. Este traje de OTEYZA que representa el traje a la española esta al comienzo de la exposición y es un placer poder ver cómo actualmente somos capaces de emular tanto el color como el estilo.  2.
